Return and warranty policy

WARRANTY

In the event of a defective product, the manufacturer’s warranty applies.

CONDITIONS

Canac accepts product returns if these returns are carried out in the thirty (30) days following the date of purchase indicated on your receipt and if the following cumulative conditions are met: 1) as mentioned, product returns must be carried out within a period of thirty (30) days from the day of your purchase; 2) the product must be intact and not have been used; 3) the product must be returned in its original packaging and this packaging must be intact; 4) an original copy of the receipt must be returned to Canac at the time of the product return to prove the validity and date of your purchase­; 5) in accordance with the Canac Privacy Protection Policy, you may be asked to provide one or more of the following details, in particular: your last and first names, your address, your postal code, your telephone number, your email address, or a piece of identification in order to identify you.

 

In-Store Purchases

 

For in-store purchases, you can go directly to any Canac branch in the thirty (30) days following your purchase to return your product, all subject to compliance with the above-mentioned conditions. Note that for products purchased in our stores, only in-store returns are authorized (no mail returns).

 

Online purchases

For online purchases, you can drive directly in the yard within thirty (30) days after your purchase to return your products, provided that the aforementioned conditions are met. 

 

Refund Conditions

 

If you request a refund rather than an exchange, in the cases permitting and if each of the above mentioned conditions are respected, Canac will refund the amount corresponding to the returned products according to the payment method used at the time of purchase.

A ten percent (10%) return fee of the refund amount may be required when requesting a refund.

For online purchases, a partial or total refund can be claimed to our customer service at serviceweb@canac.ca or at 1-844-44CANAC before picking up the items. 

In case of partial refund during pickup of items purchased online, the refund on a credit card will be made within 2 to 3 business days.

 

Delivery Fees

 

Delivery fees are non-refundable when returning a product, whether for a refund or an exchange.

  

Canac Gift & Promotional Cards

 

If the payment of your purchases was made using a Canac gift or promotional card, any refund will be made with a new gift card. In both cases the amount corresponding to your refund will be credited to a Canac gift card.

Exclusions

 

Canac excludes certain products from its return policy: these products can thus not be returned, nor can they be refunded or exchanged.

The following products are excluded from the Canac Return Policy:

  1. Canac gift cards (non-refundable and not redeemable for cash).
  2. Coloured paints and stains or personalized mixes.
  3. Products which, at the time of retail sale. Are cut or otherwise modified.
  4. Products ordered specially for you.
  5. Personalized products.
  6. Clearance or closeout sale products.
  7. Journals or other magazines.
