  • Silky smooth,soft-touch finish;
  • Very easy to wash;
  • Antimicrobial;
  • No VOC* (before coloration);
  • Four different types of finish (eggshell, flat, pearl, and flat for ceilings) and two different formats (946 mL and 3.7 L cans).

PICKING THE RIGHT TOOLS

For impressive results, you also need the right tools. Here are a few essentials you’ll need to do the job right!

PAINT BRUSHES

You ask yourself these questions every time: Synthetic or natural bristles? Straight or angular brush? Here, finally, are the answers!

  • Synthetic-bristled brushes made with polyester and nylon are perfect for latex painting, since they don’t absorb as much water as natural-bristled brushes. With their combination of soft and stiff bristles, they allow for greater precision on flat surfaces and are easy to clean.
  • Natural-bristled brushes are better for oil painting, since they’re better at withstanding paint thinner.
  • Straight brushes are mostly used for surfaces that don’t require precise edging. They come in several sizes.
  • Angular brushes allow you to make nice, straight strokes with precision. Models with short handles are easy to use and perfect for edging in tight corners. They also come in various sizes. Some even have flexible handles for those hard-to-reach spots.
  • PAINT ROLLERS

There is a roller for every kind of surface:

- Short naps (up to 10 mm): smooth surfaces;

- Medium naps (10–15 mm): rough and textured surfaces, perfect for ceilings;

- Long naps (20 mm and more): very uneven surfaces.

GETTING READY TO PAINT

Don’t forget that proper prepping can save you a lot of trouble when painting! Here are a few precautions to take before you get to work:

  • Empty the room you’ll be painting and cover the floor and/or furniture you can’t move with a protective sheet.
  • Apply masking tape to the areas you’ll be edging.
  • Clean the surfaces to be painted with a TSP degreaser to get rid of any grease or other filth.
  • Fill in any holes or imperfections with putty and lightly sand the repaired areas. Let dry according to manufacturer’s instructions.
  • You’re now ready to start. All that’s left to do is wait for your friends to show up!

Have fun painting!
