The balusters are placed at 4 1/2 in. (11,4 cm) c / c. (15 balusters are required to compose a 6 ft. long ramp).
The 39 1/2 in. balusters installed with a handrail and a rail made of 2 in. x 4 in. wood are sufficient to build a 48 in. high railing. It is important to respect the regulatory heights and the safe spacing between the bars. Check with your municipality.
