A 12 000 BTU unit can provide comfort of up to 900 sq ft per floor. For a house with a solarium or cathedral roof, it is imperative to install a unit of 18 000 BTU or more.

Kwiik Konek mini split heat pumps can provide extra heating down to a minimum outdoor temperature of -20 °C. A Kwiik Konek heat pump is not a primary heating system.
