Code-listed interior structural screw, specifically designed for fastening multi-ply engineered wood (glulam, LVL, PSL, LSL, etc.). Features an oversized thread that prevents ply separation during installation and ensures strong anchoring in composite wood materials.
The large washer head provides maximum bearing surface. The T40 6-lobe drive ensures reliable engagement and reduces bit wear during driving.
The low-profile head allows for flush installation with minimal interference, making it easier to stack laminations and install hardware. The SawTooth® point enables fast starts, lowers driving torque, and typically eliminates the need for predrilling.
With higher shear values than competing products, it supports wider spacing, saving on installation time and fastening costs.
IAPMO ER-192 code listed, the SDW EWP‑Ply screw meets 2018 and 2021 IRC® and IBC® code requirements for engineered wood construction.
