Fall fertilizer provides winter lawn protection in order to help prevent spring diseases. Nitrogen provides lawn nutrition for beautiful green rejuvenation and healthy growth. Phosphorus stimulates root growth. Potassium improves lawn resistance to weather fluctuations. A complete fertilization program requires 4 applications a year: a the beginning and the end of spring, in the summer (18-4-7) and in the fall (4-8-14).
