The Basic Waterproofing Membrane is principally used as a base sheet in two-ply roofing systems and can also be used for waterproofing decks, balconies, patios, foundations, shower bases, and bathrooms. Self-adhesive membrane made of elastomeric bitumen (1.5 mm) and a trilaminate-woven polyethylene facer. The underside (self-adhesive side) of the membrane is covered with an easily detachable silicon release film. Can be applied to wood, metal, aluminum, concrete, brick, and rocky surfaces. These surfaces must be clean, dried, and primed beforehand.
